Used to love it so much that I bought their discography.
Now I despise it so much that the first few seconds make me want to hurl.

In before Frogger.
EDIT: As an edit, it's a good album, Anco hasn't disappointed me....yet.

Ahh.. I love this. Although not as much as Feels or Strawberry Jam. But I can see why it's their most popular release.
Taste, Daily Routine, Bluish, My Girls, Also Frightened, Brother Sport, ... All great songs.
Also, it sounds like you could take a bath in it..

Nominee for best album cover ever. Other than that, the two standout tracks for me are My Girls (obviously), Also Frightened and Bluish. I have to say I find the wacky attitude of this LP quite charming, while the pop influences on this could declare it Pet Sounds of the '00's kind-of (in the same manner The Soft Bulletin was called Pet Sounds of the '90s according to some critics-need to check it out by the way). The lyrics are also heart-warming and honest, portraying the simple joys in the life of a person without ambition giving him pressure (My Girls), how it feels like to be in love (In The Flowers) or recalling family memories (Brother Sport). That said, some tracks after Bluish make it somewhat dull (especially Lion In A Coma) and since then it never reaches the heights of its first half. Additionally, having listened to it three times so far, it often gives me the impression that they could simplify their sound just a little bit at parts... Sometimes, it just sounds overloaded (I know many will disagree with me since this is generally considered a benefit for this album, the complexity of their sound, I just express what I feel towards it during certain parts). Anyway, flawed, but still very good.

Just relistened to this last night...
Anyways, it's alright. My favorite tracks are In the Flowers, My Girls, and Blueish. Nothing bad about it, but nothing much special to me outside of those three tracks.
I much prefer Strawberry Jam, Feels, Spirit They've Gone Spirit They've Vanished, and Sung Tongs
