EDIT: It's just a joke. Like they do on Top Gear. Like the time Clarkson made an John Merrick impression and called an oddly shaped car "The Elephant Car", or the time called the Ferrari F430 the "Special Needs 430" because it was slower than he was expecting, or when he said the people at Hyundai had "probably eaten spaniel for lunch", or the time Richard Hammond called Mexicans "lazy, feckless and flatulent" and his pal Clarkson joined in by saying that they don't have an Olympic Team because "because anyone who can run, jump or swim is already across the border", or when Clarkson said the only use of for the Welsh language was so that "a bunch of hotheads can get all nationalistic", or the time he called Gordon Brown a "one-eyed Scottish idiot", or the time he said all public sector strikers should be "executed in front of their families", or when he implied on Twitter that the height impaired weren't human ("Short people. When you've finished using a car, put the fucking seat back, so humans can use it afterwards"), or the time he mimicked lorry drivers by saying "Change gear, change gear, check mirror, murder a prostitute, change gear, change gear, murder", or the time he said the Jaguar XKR-S "gets its tail out more readily than George Michael". Or what about that time Clarkson suggested they should invent a quintessentially German car, and Hammond piped up by saying that the spoons "should be replaced with little sausages", to which Clarkson replied, "no, we should give it indicators that do this" before making a Nazi salute? Or the time Clarkson said of the Renault V6 that "in typical French fashion, it just gives up a bit"?
All Stewart Lee was doing was satirising the extremely offensive rhetoric and values and Top Gear. What he did is not disgusting; Top Gear is disgusting. To finish, I'll reiterate: it's just a joke, like they do on Top Gear.
