Bad voice, great singer

It seems like there's a bunch of people who have voices that aren't considered conventionally "good", but who are nonetheless great singers. A few that immediately come to mind are Bob Dylan, Jeff Magnum, Elliott Smith, and Isaac Brock. Any more we can think of?

I think an explanation is needed because I thought Jeff Mangum had a good voice.

I think it's good as well, but I don't think it fits the conventional definition of "good voice" if that makes any sense

That actually makes very little sense to me, and so does this thread, but that's only because I don't understand it well.
