So is the plan to to start a new 90's tournament? Why don't you just contact Johnny Rocket Fingers and ask him to give you the remaining list?
Also, there shouldn't be bootlegs (Nirvana). Most people wouldn't be able to vote intelligently, since they wouldn't have heard these. History--Michael Jackson? I vote no as that's a compilation that includes music recorded and previously released before 1990. A similar argument can be made about the Forrest Gump soundtrack.
Finally, this is only my opinion of course, but there were many great albums released in the 90's, yet some of you have suggested some painfully mediocre albums. A tournament should be about the best of the best, not just any old crap that comes down the pike. Sigh... I might just sit this one out.

Frankly mr. shankly, why dont you? Rather than whining about peoples picks and coping out of actually nominating your own choices. Of course some choices may be favored over others, thats why they call it a tournament!

Please, oh Great Swami, enlighten us lowly peasants with your most excellent sonic choices for our evening's recreational recording recounter. The mystical Shangri-La that is your record collection would be a blessed supplement for our unworthy ears.

Wow! It appears I hit a nerve with my previous comment. I suppose I came off a little elitist (although I'm not nearly as elitist as some on this site). At the risk of digging myself a deeper hole, let me try to clarify where I was coming from. I have noticed in the past that when nominations for tournaments happen, some people don't appear to think very critically about some of their selections. I suspect there's a lot of," well this is one of my favorite bands/artists, so I'm just gonna put everything they did during that era on my nomination list." At least that's what it seems like, and if I'm right, that's disingenuous. I have a number of favorite artists and bands. Do I think any of them have made nothing but great albums? Of course, not. I guess the other possibility is that you're sort of like I was with movies up until the age of 12, where I was so fascinated with the medium, that I liked all of them. In that case, I sort of envy you.
How's this for a compromise? This site lets us have 50 albums on a chart. Maybe each person should be limited to 50 nominations each. Actually, less might even be better. Obviously, this should remain a democracy, but even democracy has its limits.

If I'm not supposed to take this as an insult, and you were being unclear about something again, tell me right now.
