Woah woah woah, what's so wrong about Since I Left You? I mean, at that point in their career they'd obviously found their niche, but I think it's a really fresh album in a lot of ways. It has their classic sound but expands upon it a lot, at least in my eyes.

I don't like to abuse other peoples opinions and say mine is better, but anyone who went for anything other than Since I Left You is an utter idiot.

Since I Left You is probably the best place to start. But whatever you do, don't go with Since I Left You first, it's by far their most experimental, and even though it's good, it takes a long time to get into.
