I don't know the original, but I'm sure Georgie performed it so better. He always does! Cool

Harrison was always my favorite member of The Beatles, but I don't really care much for his solo stuff. I don't really care for any of the Beatles members' solo work, actually.

Another one here who would call Harrison the best Beatle. I'd put this above every Beatles album except The Beatles. It's such a sprawling infectious masterpiece and sums up so well everything George was about.

It's easily George's magnum opus. True, it might have a song or two that feels like filler, but that's to be expected from a record this long.

Me neither. ATMP is as dull as dishwater. It is rarely the case that cover versions are better than the originals, but Isn't It A Pity by Galaxie 500 out-shines Harrison's version by a country mile.

Maybe the best Beatle solo album.

I enjoy this more than any Beatles album. The album definitely benefited from the stranglehold John on Paul had on the Beatles songwriting. I don't know anyone who listens to the instrumentals at the end.

This is what happens when you've been creativly stifled by high-profile members of an earlier band. When you get free, you explode with great work.
