Most people like adult artists, but are there people here who listen to kids too?
Personally I really like The Jackson 5 (as I'm a Michael Jackson fan). They made some great album (the first tree) and it's just "happy music", easy llistening. My favourite songs? "I Want You Back", "Maybe Tomorrow", "One More Chance" and "Can I See You In The Morning".
Young artists are usually commercial products, so no, I don't particularly like any of them.
However, with the rise of electronic music and the Internet, many young (and actually talented) musicians are becoming well-known nowadays. I'm thinking about XXYYXX, for example.
Stevie Wonder released his tenth album in 1968 at the age of 18.
Before Big Star, Alex Chilton had a hit with "The Letter" as a member of The Box Tops at 17.
Janis Ian had a hit with "Society's Child", a song about interracial romance at the age of 14.
It's easy to classify kid artists in a singular way, but it's not really right. _________________ May we all get to heaven
