Hi to everyone.... joined as a member after using this awesome site for reference over a long period. My main interest is Classic Rock music... Sabbath, Hawkwind, Alice Cooper, Twisted Sister etc, etc. Weekly along with two mates we meet Saturdays and take it in turn to select an "Album of the Week"....we are over 60 albums in now (20 each) and loving it more each week, especially the accompanying beers. ( My most recent choice was La Futura by ZZ Top ).... any suggestions will be appreciated & considered. Thanx !

Welcome and enjoy! You should start putting together a chart soon too, the site will recommend similar charts to your own then, which is always good for finding new music you may like!

Hmmm, any recommends? Well, I wouldn't want to push anything to crazy onto you so I'll just let you explore what you want, but as far as classic rock goes, I'd suggest giving City to City by Gerry Rafferty a try.

Thanx for welcome thus far. I have explored site a tad further than previously and am delighted with what I am finding.
Evander> re. Our Saturday night "Album of the Week". It has been great, whoever's turn it is provides nibbles (pies, hotdogs, olives etc) and presents their choice. Thus far we have centred on classic rock (we're all in our 50's), but have sampled the likes of Deaf School, Imelda May, the Police....and the Billy Walton Band. Its been most enlightning. After 20 albums each, you even wonder about the wisdom of some of your own selections....eg. WASP first album. For the record, my first choice was Ziggy Stardust.
