If you're looking for world music, check out Zombie by Fela Kuti (Nigerian). It's a short album, and it's on Youtube (or was when I listened to it). It's protest music against the Nigerian government, so it spread around the world pretty quickly when it was released in '77. If you've been actively seeking out world music, you may have already found it. It's a nice listen though.

Thanks a lot any particular tracks I should try first or would the whole short album would be better?

Welcome to BEA! Have you tried Fleetwood Mac for classic rock? What about Neil Young for blues and folk? Also go for The Moody Blues.

Yeah I love the Fleetwood Mac I am still stuck in Rumours although I doubt that they have another masterpiece of such perfection, I heard Tusk is pretty good and I am willing to try.

I am still listening to that Buffalo Springfield album but it has yet grown on me, should I skip to Neil Young instead?

And I never got into prog so maybe I should start now, thanks a lot!

Electronic: Avalanches. I don't personally like electronic, but The Avalanches get great reviews. And be sure to try Depeche Mode. They have a body of work that spans from the 80's to now, so that should keep you busy.
I've never heard of Avalanches, though I have heard of Depeche Mode everywhere, I'll be sure to check them out.

For world music, I can only really suggest Italian artist Andrea Bocelli (one of the objectively greatest voices in classical and world music, probably the world) and the Irish music group Celtic Woman.
Celtic music sounds very interesting indeed! And I have heard of Andrea Bocelli, I'll be sure to check theses guys as well.

I really appreciate this, thanks!

Although Electronic in style, Avalanches don't sound Electronic on the surface. Also Depeche Mode are terrible IMO. Some other Electronic artists you should check out include
The Knife
Aphex Twin
Boards of Canada
Kraftwerk
Amon Tobin
Atoms for Peace
DJ Shadow

The song "Zombie" from the album Zombie is a real standout. Rumor has it that the Nigerian government actually killed Fela Kuti's mother and destroyed his town over this song. I've never actually been able to find any other album by him, but this album's pretty good, and it's especially great once you understand it in the context it was written in. Depending on what version of the album you might be able to get, there's only 2-4 songs on the album, but each one is 12-13 minutes long.

Here's a link to one version of the album on Youtube (not the best quality though):

It's called Fleetwood Mac 1975. It's almost as good as Rumours. Try that one before you try Tusk, which IMO was a bit overproduced.

He's all over youtube, spotify, grooveshark, amazon, itunes, and torrents. I suggest Confusion, Sorrow Tears & Blood, and Expensive Shit on top of Zombie.

I'd also recommend Na Poi and Gentleman on top of the albums purple suggested.

I've listened to Endtroducing... and I love it, I've listened to some Aphex Twin in the Nine Inch Nails remix album Further Down the Spiral so I guess I will start with him!
