"She's a Killer queen!
Gunpowder, gelatine
Dynamite with a laser beam
Guaranteed to blow your mind

Really cool album. The triplet of Tenement Funster/Flick of the Wrist/Lily of the Valley is brilliant.

Also, while we're on the subject of this album, I had to make this.

I love this album.

"Brighton Rock" is the song you should listen to if you ever start wondering whether Brian May was a good guitarist, because that song is ridiculous.

Very good, although I prefer the one that came before it (which is my favorite by them) and the three that came after it (yes, even News Of The World). But 70s' Queen is, with very few if any exceptions, flawless.

It's dope. I'm not as into Queen as I used to be these days, but this album and A Night at the Opera will always have a special place in my heart. "Tenement Funster" is quite possibly the greatest song they ever recorded.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I first heard this! The absolute best of their pre-pop rock era.
