¿Why T.Rex it's so underrated?

I dont understand... T.rex are one of the greatest bands ever, Marc Bolan was a genius. Tell me ¿Why?

I dunno. I mean, to critics they are legendary, seems like, but personally their music doesn't really do much for me.

Been thinking about adding Electric Warrior to my chart. I definitely agree with you. I guess he just died too early. His music reminds me a lot of Ziggy Stardust-era Bowie.

I dont now, but im with you dude. T Rex are an amamazing "Glam Rock & Roll Sonic Erotic band".

T. Rex are definitely not underrated. They're a damn good band, and they get the acclaim they deserve, not more, not less. Marc Bolan perfectly knows how to write a song full of clever hooks, but by no mean he's a "genius", IMO.

Electric Warrior is a great album. I don't really know what to think about The Slider.

I think he died before people could really start to admire him. He certainly didn't become more famous when he passed. If he had been legendary before his death, then maybe T. Rex would be pretty famous.

But most of all, that kind of rock doesn't really appeal to everyone. I love a lot of glam-rock, though.
Especially today it can be considered a bit dated.
