There are a few Gorillaz vids I don't like, and I tended not to like the songs while watching. However, a few weeks later I tried the songs again without watching the video and I really liked them. Do you get this sometimes?

I initially thought this was stupid, but having thought about it watching the music video for Sea of Love by The National made me really love the song. I think it's because you're focused entirely on the song, rather than it just being something in the background.

Early Oasis and Suede songs are so much better with their music videos.

I really hate music videos. It's ok if it just shows the band playing but if it shows people doing random arty shit it just detract from the whole experience.

Same.Although I remember I went crazy when I seen The Pharcyde's video for Drop and went and downloaded their first two albums about 5 minutes later,they're one of my favourite groups ever.Saying that I don't think a music video affects the song in the slightest,this is just how I see it.

I'm so over music videos. I used to really like them. Now, if I want visuals with my music, I prefer to see a live video performance.
