I mean, I voted Talk Talk because I genuinely prefer their early stuff to what I've heard of Chrome, but if people are taking Spirit of Eden or Laughing Stock into account then this is completely unjust.

I think people are. I could say that you on;y take into account their first 2-3 albums but would people listen to that? In saying that, many artists change direction (maybe not as drastic as Talk Talk) in their career so maybe it is just.

Yeah, I was probably a little hasty throwing around terms like 'unjust', given that I nominated Prince and Scritti Politti, and then proceeded to promote the latter using songs that are neither post-punk nor new wave.
