Honestly, I've always liked this album, even when it came out, and everyone was still jarred by it. I guess I'm cool that way. Anyhow, this is probably my fifth or sixth favorite Radiohead album, but I sill really really enjoy it. Solid direction for a group capable of doing almost no wrong.

Track picks
1. Bloom
3. Little By Little
5. Lotus Flower
8. Separator

If it's possible for a Radiohead album to be underrated, this is the one that is, mostly because it get's a ton of hate that I just don't understand. I really like this album, though I admit it may be too reliant on loops at certain points. There are some magical highs on this album, Codex being the highest for me. Sure it doesn't equal some of their older work, but it's still very good.

Listened to it three or four times upon release, then once again later, and I don't remember one single song. I'll try it again sometimes.

Fantastic album, my 4th favorite of Radiohead's. I love the minimalist approach they took to many of these songs, it gives the music a real subtle, yet sophisticated vibe. There isnt a weak track on this album, and they all beautifully flow right into the next one. I think Separator is my favorite, the drums give it a real jazzy texture.

Brilliant album

Not really a fan. It would rank it above Pablo Honey and Hail to the Thief, but I don't find anything particularly interesting here. I found it kind of disappointing, especially after In Rainbows and nothing has changed after repeat listens. It feels to me more of a rehash of previous ideas and I think it lacks inspiration. Not bad, but nothing to really brag about either.

Hello everybody. This is my first forum post! Yay!

I must say that I think that Radiohead was really daring with this album by stepping away from their usual pop format. This is not an album that is meant to appeal to the masses, unlike their previous albums. I personally love almost every song on here. This is a top Radiohead album for me. Separator is one of my favorite songs.

I mean, to be fair, they aren't exactly an "appeal to the masses" type band. They're more accessible than quite a few other things, I'll give you that, but other than that, I really can't see myself saying Radiohead is the type of band that "appeals to the masses".

As a side note. Horrid album.

Well, I just listened to this album for the first time. I don't want to offend anyone's tastes, but I kinda thought it was shit. One of like 5 or 6 albums max that I've heard without a single song I especially enjoy Confused

Idk, Frogger says it's a difficult first listen, so I'll probably give it another chance at some point. Not too soon, though...

Also judging from your chart, it looks like that kind of music isnt your thing

If you enjoy Radiohead, but not TKOL, I'd highly recomend watching the "From the Basement" TKOL episode, or at least seeing videos of live performances form these songs off youtube, they really shed a whole new light on the artistry behind these songs, while expanding them into a more rock direction

Here's a favorite of mine
