Ângela Rô Rô is probably more known for she was one of the first openly declared homossexual singers in brazillian popular music, and for scandal with her partner, another famous singer, Zizi Possi.
This is a very good album, it's got a bluesy/jazzy style that was innovative in Brazil, in its time, it's very chilling. Most of the lyrics are well composed love songs and through them, you can see her willing for more, how can I say, feminine freedom.
Although this is not exactly my cup of tea, its quality is undeniable, and I find it a beautiful sight, just a woman, her good voice and her piano.
I highlight the tracks "Amor, Meu Grande Amor" (that became really famous covered by Barão Vermelho) and "Balada da Arrasada".
