Not familiar with these songs or artists for that matter (except for name recognition). This will be a fun thread to revisit after work! Smile (i heart discovering new-to-my-ears music.)

Oh boy do I have the perfect song: "Cyborgs vs. Robots" by Ludo. One of my favourite tracks from a (rather unlikely) favourite band of mine.

some more good suggestions! i think kraftwerk and mstrkrft are my favs, but it's up to him... i'll probably not play him the one with "blood and guts" in the lyrics though as that wouldn't please the wife..

Machines (Back to Humans) by Queen, from The Works. I think this would work very nicely. Parts have a vocoder/robot-like voice, and most of the lyrics talk about computers and such.

I'm also not entirely sure how old this grade-schooler is, but I might recommend Dr. Steel. He was an internet personality/steampunk musician (similar to the whole Dr. Horrible thing, in fact I think Dr. Steel actually sued Joss Whedon over Dr. Horrible). He even went so far as to claim his backing band was robots (and when performing live shows would claim that the robots were broken down so he had to resort to a live human band). As far as I can remember, he didn't curse, but his music was a little creepy and propaganda-y. I was never a fan, but Dr. Steel was at the forefront of steampunk music, which is often very robot-y.
