Pretty average. Some safe choices with some surprises along the way. Considering it's a company for the mainstream you really can't blame them for being so predictable. _________________
Pretty impressive really. I don't expect lists this good from publications like Entertainment Weekly. Some very pleasant surprises littered through out, and very few albums whose inclusion I take particular issue with.
I just had thought that people are convinced "every official lists can't be completed if the beatles album isn't firstspot" by something, and I want to fuck that something _________________ If you're feeling sinister, Go off and Listen to Indie Pop
Not actually that bad. The only place were the list really goes kind of "what the fuck" is in its choices of more modern albums, like the inclusion of Alicia Keys of B'Day by Beyonce (4 is by far her best album). And I of course disagree with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The part I find most interesting is the inclusion of 21 by Adele. I think its going to be one of those records that is going to be appearing on more of these more "main stream" inclined charts, for its similarities to Thriller, in that it shared massive commercial and critical success. However bland I find it (her voice is incredible though), it's going to be appearing on these charts now and this appears to be one of the first of many on its way to being canonized.
