Everything is locked...

Hi there!

I wanted to add some missing tracks to an album, but I can't modify it. It says it is locked.

Must I have a certain level to be able to edit informations about an already-existant album ?

You have to be a Data Moderator to modify existing albums.

That means you need to have 1000 mod points.

Ok I get it now, I saw were these points are.

But I have an other question then... Is it impossible to create an album page without having it in your chart ? I mean, when I add in my chart an album that doesn't have already its page, I have an alert message, and I have to click on it to go to the "Admin Album" page and edit the informations. But can't I go directly to this page by choosing myself what album I wanna create ?

New albums and artists are only added to the site via people's charts. To access the admin page for any existing album, you can click through from the relevant album page using the edit icon next to the album title.

If you spot an issue with the data for a 'locked' item, you are able to submit a data correction which can then be verified/actioned by any of the data moderators.

Judging by my score, 1000 points seems a little short for becoming a data moderator since I'm already at 6300.
