I've been a little late with this one. Here is the first song to be previewed from the new Manic Street Preachers album.

The guy who doesn't have the beautiful voice is called Richard Hawley. Did a popular album called 'Coles Corner' in the past. Song is quite a long one by Manic Street Preachers standards. Not a single though.

Song is from the album of the same name. It's the 11th Studio album from Manic Street Preachers and will be released 16th September 2013.

There will be a single taken from the album a week before its release called 'Show Me The Wonder'.

I didn't like that one bit. Meandering bullshit. Richard Hawley should know better.

I think his voice suits the mellow verses of the songs.

Richard Hawley is certainly not the problem with this song. That horrible home counties folk melody is fucking terrible, and then Bradfield goes way more bombastic than the mood calls for. Richard Hawley doesn't cover himself in glory, but you get the feeling he's making the best of a terrible situation.

It's reassuring to know James Dean Bradfield comes in at some point! Laughing I'll wait until the album is released to see how he does.

I enjoyed it, I thought the somber mood of the song wasn't bad or anything.
