I can't remember when I first bookmarked or used this site but I have been more active on it in the last few months and I have discovered many great new albums THANKS to all of your suggestions/comments/rankings.
All of my charts are works in progress as I continually discover new music.
I like many different genres of music and started collecting first vinyl albums in the 70s and then CDs in the late 80s. I have spent periods of time listening mostly to Jazz ... my teem years I listened to the Beatles a ton - which was a gateway to love The Who ... then in the 80s I went backwards to listen to a lot of 50s music while enjoying some 80s stuff along the way.
I have kept nearly all of the LPs/CDs I have collected over the years - no matter how bad I find them to be years later. Back in the day there wasn't as much of an opportunity to listen to songs/samples/albums in advance prior to purchasing the full album - made some strange choices - but the ride has been fun. I still enjoy listening to new music - be it a release from last week or an album of music from the 30s or 40s that I have never heard.
I ramble - thanks again - love the site - love listening to peoples favorites and finding new favorites of my own.
