list 'em, like in the song.

These are a few of mine:

The vibrancy of Green grass against a stormy grey sky.

Resting my face on the cold vibrating glass of a train/car window whilst staring at the scenery on a long journey.

An insanely hot bath. (being wrinkly and feeling deeply clean after)

Settling in to bed on cool fresh crisp sheets.

The Kent Countryside

Seeing the White cliffs of Dover from the ferry back from France.

Walking home late at night through empty streets.

Dawn.

I'll second that. Baths are extremely underrated here in North America (they're considered faggy and somehow unsanitary; real men scrub their pinkened skin with a loofah).

Heres mine:

Eating a large pepperoni pizza all to myself.

A brilliant film (just discovered Mark Rappaport.)

Getting drunk.

Dancing madly to Trout Mask Replica.

Masterbating (seriously, never gets old).

Channelling my murdourous/suicdal/incestuous rage into a quaint pop song.

Dreaming about how guilty my ex-girlfriend must feel.

The greatest moment I could ever possibly have is a great meal: I can't describe the food, but it's the kind that feels like sex and ensures that it has to be thoroughly enjoyed both because of its complexity and (usually) higher cost (favorite food=saag); have a drink, some wine, an ale, or a cocktail (favorite=part amaretto, part kahlua, two parts vodka (sweet, I know; a godmother and black russian poured together)); and be around company that is just as passionate about some things as you are (music, film, art, bitches on the street, literature, comedy, videogames, wtc) but not necessarily agree within those fields.

Oh, yeah, a roast dinner with gravy... hhhmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!

The first cigarette after a long time without one.

The first cup of coffee of the day.

Finding a film on tv you've never heard of before that you only watched because nothing else good was on, and it turning out to be a cracker- usually one of those little small budget films that just has a great story around a strong idea, and well acted.

Occasional news story that's good. A little thing that makes you smile, or alleviates the gloom- the monks in Burma taking to the streets that time- clean graffitti artists- someone does something totally off the wall almost seemingly in defiance of the apparent impending apocalypse.

I like a shower every day (this seems a wierdly personal revelation to be sharing with strangers, but hey, who cares), but once a week a good long bath till the water cools just can't be beaten for me.

wow, some of your lists look like a more cultured version of a 17-year-old girls myspace 'about me' section.. not that i've seen many of those....

i too have a penchant for exruciatingly hot baths; the kind that are tororous to get in to - i recommend bobbing your balls in and out a few times when lowering yourself in, so as to avoid a nasty shock! - but rewarding 5 minutes later when you're enveloped in a steaming, watery cocoon. getting out is a bit of bother too..

can't get enough food either. calculations indicate that i consume 6000 calories per day, but remain in top form! and for me, as much as i love high quality ethnic cuisine, i tend to gravitate towards sugary junk food on a day to day basis. my idea of culinary heaven is a packet of warm strawberry sensation pop tarts and a cup of white tea.

other passions of mine would include:

- the vibrant sense of adventure when on a plane to some faraway country
- conducting research into metaphysical subjects and the mind sciences
- going for long runs with the mp3 player blasting, immersed in my imagination
- vandalism (unfortunately, as i approach my 25th birthday, the shelf life of 'adolesence' as an excuse has pretty much expired, yet the passion burns strong)

Perhaps you could combine pursuits: mental vandalism to foreign peoples on long journeys!

...you'd have thought someone would have invented a nut bag or some other protective device for this purpose by now.... something that gradually equalises temperatures between bath water and testicles.
sounds like a niche market there- a potential money spinner!

HAHAHAHA - not only do we have a similar but not the same taste in music, but I've wasted many hours playing Heroes of Might and Magic 2, Civilization 3, Doom and Master of Orion! Laughing
