And vice versa, of course. I've been thinking about this one for a bit, really. I mean, there's a feeling of hollow calmness and almost happiness while also feeling utterly alone and depressed that comes with For Emma Forever Ago by Bon Iver, and the same comes from 500 Days of Summer.
Dark Entries by Bauhaus gives a feeling of fear and panic that is at the same time totally controlled and balanced, which could be paralleled by Donnie Darko (though I think Donnie Darko also pairs well with Closer by Joy Division)
Hopes and Fears by Keane is happy and bouncy while at the same time slightly dark and leaves you with a tinge of bittersweet in the back of your throat, much the way I felt after watching Safety Not Guaranteed.
So basically the question is this: if you had to describe a movie with an album, what album would you use to describe that movie? _________________

The Strokes is this it. This album reminds me of being with my friends in the car, so kind of like The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Idk about movies, but whenever I listen to The Pillows I'm reminded of FLCL, for obvious reasons. _________________ kill yr idols

Def Leppard's Hysteria reminds me of a documentary I saw om some album called Hysteria by a band called Def Leppard.
In seriousness, The Wall reminds me a little of Tim Burton films.

Maybe is not exactly what you asked. Because Kavinsky is great part of the soundtrack of Drive. Nevertheless every time a listen to him, the image of scenes of the movie come to mind.
It´s the most immediate artist-movie I can think off _________________ "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming"
