Uh, "Born to Be Wild" isn't exactly one of the more imaginative riffs ever penned, to be fair.

Anyway, pretty much everything by John Williams and a lot of stuff by Andrew Lloyd Webber. Webber's certainly got his moments, though.

I will, however, echo the sentiment that just about everything ever written is, to some extent, ripped off of something. If it weren't then it wouldn't appeal to many people.

i recently noticed quite a similarity between XTC and Oingo Boingo in singing styles. I can't be the first to notice it.

Bob Dylan's whole career was founded on ripping off other songs. He even ripped off his own songs. he just did it so well it didn't matter.

Neil Young's "Borrowed Tune" is a brilliant, honest rip off of Rolling Stones' "Lady Jane"
