It's purty good. Was my #3 for a while. I guess I just get tired of these guys.

Lovely album. Was really into SOAD at one point...Didn't listen to albums much until I was less enamored with this band, but I had listened to every single song of theirs at some point. This album really ought to be on my 00s decade chart, though I think their debut is my favourite (Spiders <3), that came out in the late nineties didn't it? So many lovely songs...The only song which kind of gets on my nerves is Chop Suey. And it isn't even simply because it is overplayed, it is just because...eh, the lyrics, the sound, the whole aesthetic, kind of cheesy. I really enjoy their insane songs like Ddevil (off their debut), but my favourites are the more toned down ones...They make really beautiful, eh, I guess they're ballads? ATWA is probably my favourite off the album, but it has been a while since I've heard the whole album. Should give it a relisten. And Serj Tankian is still probably one of my, if not my, favourite male vocalist(s).

Edit: You know, listening to SOAD songs on Youtube, I keep being reminded of how I always had trouble picking favourite albums of theirs. They have plenty of good songs, and plenty of less than good ones. Hmm. Either way, I feel like I'm going to get into SOAD again.* I'm listening to Question! right now, such a lovely song.

Edit edit: I also completely do not get why they are an "uncool' band.

Edit edit edit: Or maybe not. XD They are good in short bursts, as some below mentions.

The overall rank of each album is determined by calculating the aggregate position of each album from over 11,000 different charts. In theory, the more charts that a music album has appeared in and the higher it's rank score, the better an album will be.

lol @ Swedenman. Anyway, I really loved this album back in the early 2000s, but eventually I tired of the band, plus I disowned anything to do with metal. Now that I'm back into metal (HELL YEAH!) I'm still kind of lukewarm when it comes to SOAD, but I do appreciate them in short bursts. In other words, the album is ok.
