When I listened back to this last year as a 23 year old, it didn't sound as good to me as it did when I was a 13 year old.

One of those albums I liked when I was in middle school and early high school, but grew out of eventually. A few tracks are pretty resilient, but even for pop punk, this is a bit middle-of-the-road. Maybe a bit better.

This is blink-182's worst pre-hiatus album. The three singles are great, especially "What's My Age Again" and "Adam's Song", but the rest is just so underwhelming. The songwriting is too sloppy to match up to TOYPAJ and the group's self-titled album, but the delivery is too polished to be as charmingly crude as Cheshire Cat and Dude Ranch. The songs largely sound the same, with a ton of melodic gravity centered around the first note of each scale and little structural development.

Yeah, it's bad. I don't like to jump on bandwagons, and everyone should at least listen to it if they want to hate it, but yeah it's actually really bad.
