If your favorite song was removed from all the albums on your chart, how much different would your chart be from what it is now? Would your top 10 change at all?
For me, Kate Bush's 'The Dreaming' and 'The Kick Inside' would be outside the top 10 as both 'Suspended In Gaffa' and 'Wuthering Heights' are by far the best for me. 'Everything Must Go' and 'England Keep My Bones' on the otherhand would remain where they are as I have no set favorite song on either.

Mine wouldn't change. Albums that make my charts do so by being full of good songs.

I don't think i'd care too much unless it drastically changed the vibe or flow of the album, the majority of my favourite albums I wouldn't have a stand out track either. I mean Up The Bracket is the only album i'm 100% sure I know the names to all the songs in the right order, ever since I was young I listen to albums from start to finish, rarely acknowledging the name of each individual track.

I think most of my albums in my top 10 have a reason of being there, and it is definitely beyond my favorite song of the album. If you take out Karma Police out of Ok Computer, it will probably create a different feeling, but you still have Airbag, Paranoid Android, No Surprises, Exit Music, etc etc. I mean a great album goes deeper than a single song. _________________ "Hurry Up, We're Dreaming"

You'd turn my #1 album into an EP

Anyways, just the thought of this pains me. I want all the songs there!

I once realized that with most of my top 10 albums, I can't name even one song. I view the album as a listening experience, rather than a collection of songs.
Pink Moon for instance. I literally cannot name one song.
