Cop Shoot Cop is one of my fav songs ever. The whole album is incredible and ends perfectly. It's like swimming through someones imagination. I think its still on my chart cant remember either way it defs should be.

well it's probably the best album opener ever, but how about Stay With Me, Home of the Brave or Broken Heart (since i know you're less likely to love the heavy psych songs) _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

They're nice...I don't know, my listening experiences have been similar to Swedenman's so far. I'll try it again sometime though.

If the whole album were in the same vein as the title track or Cop Shoot Cop or the title track, this would be tremendous. But it's not.

sure it is. if any album has anything to do with veins. this is it.
but seriously everything in the middle is great. Maybe you'd all like Let It Come Down better, since it's way more of the gospel-oriented sound _________________ http://jonnyleather.com

Perhaps, I haven't heard that one. But its not the lack of gospel that drives me away from the majority of the middle section, its the vocals, they just sound very off putting to me, unlike the aforementioned tracks, where they're more restrained.
As a side note, I love Spacemen 3 much more than Spiritualized

K, so there are some touchingly beautiful and sad moments on this album akin to the first track (mostly songs which Mecca mentioned) but then those bluesy sounding guitar singy songs aren't my cuppa tea. I don't see what is psychedelic about them...More bluesy to me, though I'm not as educated you guys on music, it just doesn't sound anything like my idea of psychedelic. So yeah, the less rock oriented parts are awesome, the rock oriented parts are blagh.

spiritualized have done remarkably little wrong in their career. this is tied with let it come down for my favourite though.

Yeah. i'm on a seesaw between the two records totally depending on my particular mood.
