Anna Von Hausswolff: "Ceremony".
And Paul McCartney's "New" should be among the options. Way better than Reflektor for a start.

Dear god, I hated 2012! I think I there were two albums I liked (Jack White and Tame Impala).
This year though, fuck me, its been incredible! However, I can't seem to settle on a best album. At the moment its between Random Access Memories and AM. _________________ If you're reading this, that probably means that I had something to say.

I haven't listened to much from both years, but out of the critically successful albums, I much prefer the ones from 2013. I don't know about less popular things, though. What I mean is I can't say really say 2013 > 2012, because I've far from listened to enough music to make an interesting judgement, but I can say that :
New Daft Punk, new Mazzy Star, new National, Wondrous Bughouse, new MBV, Acid Rap, etc > Bloom, Tame Impala's album, Good Kid, Blunderbuss, The Idle Wheel, An Awesome Wave, etc
I haven't listened to Reflektor and Channel Orange yet, but I doubt they'll change that. What may indeed change that would be further listened to dozens of albums from each year, and I'm not interested in doing that at the moment. I'm very satisfied with 2013 so far.

I didn't hear many 2012 albums. If anyone can give me good recs, I'd like that.
Also, "Other" appears to be the best album of the year.

Not sure if it's best of 2013, but I'm surprised The Terror hasn't gotten more love. I find it quite powerful. _________________ Finnegan was super bad-ass.
