Yeah There are so many changes in our overall charts that we even don't mind them ! so if there could be a small list on the main page that could give a list of "changed rank of albums" that would be useful.

for example if we want to do it based on "highest climbers" it can be like this :
1.Arcade fire - Reflektor (+356)
2.Eminem - MM2 (+147)
.
.
.
(this is just an example)

or we can make it based on the changes of the (higher rated albums) like this :

1.LZ - IV (+1)
2.Pixies - Doolittle (+1)
.
.
.
(this is just an example)

What do you think ?

I'd like to know when there are changes in the Top Ten of years. I'm sort of a compulsive chart-watcher, you see. Like when Reflektor passed Trouble Will Find Me as the highest ranked of 2013, it would be nice to have a page that indicates changes like that.

There's a function that allows you to view the main chart as it was on any day you choose.

I know that, and have used that function. It's kind of cool, actually, and I don't think I've seen a time machine function like that on any other website, so, again, good work Albummaster!

But I'd have to check year by year to see if anything has changed, and that can be kind of tedious.

Tbh, the overall chart doesn't change that much day to day which is why there's no 'chart changes' panel. The year/decade charts change a lot more, but usually not significantly in between recalcs, so I don't know if it would be overly useful to have a 'chart changes' panel - you'd still have to check to see if anything has changed, & most of the time not much will have (unless it was compared to a more distant point in time & then it becomes arbitrary as to which point should be chosen). As Romanelli mentioned, the 'point in time' functionality is available instead.

I was thinking of this the other day! I think this function would be really cool actually with a choice on whether to see it on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis instead of trying to find out manually.. I also think it would be cool to show the increase or the decrease of a bands position and other stats like album increases or decreases in its year and overall album position changes...
