I like it, but it's sort of underwhelming for me. Definitely due another listen.

Superb record. It goes everywhere, but does it perfectly. Lots of fantastic tracks, and not so many less than great ones.

Short songs with big hooks. "Gold Star for Robot Boy" is perfect.

I still remember the first time I ever listened to this. It sounded like the most inept attempt at a recording session I think I'd ever heard and I remember thinking that whoever recommended it to me must have been winding me up, but by the end of that first track I was hooked. Any other band would have turned the majority of these tunes into 7 minute epics but here they're lucky if they break the 2 minute mark before it's time to crap out the next golden opus.

what are you thinking? This album is a goldmine.
For all its inconsistency, I still think this is one of the most brilliant albums ever recorded.

Well, I did like Under the Bushes... very much, so I wouldn't be surprised. Okay, moving this to the top of said list.

Can't believe you've listened to Under The Bushes and not Bee Thousand. Under The Bushes is great, but I don't think it's anywhere near the level of Bee Thousand. But maybe it's just that Echos Myron is such a killer track. Alien Lanes is close to the same level, but I find Bee Thousand to be slightly more consistent.
