This is pure joy. This guy knows what he is doing. I love how on the surface it sounds so pure and integrated and continuous but deeply it's intricate and subtle with all those little samples and glitches and seemingly spontaneous noises. Those who like this should check out I'm Happy and I'm Singing and a 1, 2, 3, 4 by Jim O'Rourke.

I'm a Fennesz fan, and this is definitely one of my favorite albums. The other albums from him I think are essential to listen too are: Plus Forty Seven Degrees 56' 37" Minus Sixteen Degrees 51' 08" and Hotel paral.lel

He's also been involved on many collaborations. If anyone is curious and adventurous to know more about him, there's one called Afternoon Tea in which Keith Rowe (ex-member of the legendary free-improv band AMM) is also involved with a few others. The music is even more abstract than Endless Summer, it is completeley improvised and it's like if the sounds are coming out from a star of another galaxy that is being born... Shocked
