I've had a few albums that I never fully got through in one sitting. For example, Godspeed You! Black Emperor's LYSFLATH and F#A# Infinity I couldn't finish because I found them too boring. That's a reoccurring theme for me with albums I haven't finished. I also felt like dropping Hospice on my first listen, the only reason I finished it is because there was the occasional interesting moment.

But there are some albums that you don't get to finish because something happened. I never got to finish Wire's Pink Flag because my computer crashed while I was halfway through the album.

Then there are albums that I've given ratings to which, I admit, I haven't fully listened to them yet - at the time. I've redeemed myself a little, but there still are albums I listened to that I have yet to fully acknowledge each and every track.

So, are there any albums you haven't finished?

If the music is so bad that I have to quit an album out of pain, disgust or mind numbing boredom before I reach the end it automatically gets bottom marks from me. Nil Poi. Off you go. See ya!

On top of that there have been countless times I have had to put an album on hold or listen to it later because I've had to do something else. Some of these I have forgotten to come back to. So yeah... there are many times such has happened.

I almost died a little inside. GYBE, The Antlers and Wire. Confused

I haven't finished a few album, can't remember any specific ones at moment. I usually come back to them later on though.

Edit: And yeah, as outlaw said if they're plain bad I'll stop listening.

I tend to stick it out once I put an album on.

That said I can completely understand getting bored by GYBE, they've grown on me admittedly, as have a few other post-rock artists, but I hated them at first and post-rock is just a genre I struggle to get through at times I guess, it's pretty boring to me quite often minus a select few.

If I stop halfway through an album, it's usually because something else comes up. I'll never refuse to stick it out just because an album is bad, lol.

i agree with GSYBE being not fun to listen to. I've tried listening to them and find it's a chore getting through a whole song because they're so long. and though i'm pretty new to them, I think Wire is pretty good. I'd say give Pink Flag another chance.

I often listen to full albums on youtube before I dl them and I'll often stop them halfway through. I'm only taking a punt on whether I'll like it or not in the first place so if I'm not enjoying it I don't think there's anything wrong with stopping it and listening to something else, I'm an impatient person.

When I tried to listen to What's The Story Morning Glory, Roll With It was so bad that I decided to drop it and never listen to Oasis again. Also Pedestrian Verse by Frightened Rabbit, that album is atrocious.
