Just a few clarifications:
-As I wrote in the survey, you can nominate an album in as many genre categories as you wish, but it will only end up in one category at most for the final vote. That is for genre categories of course, solo male/female, instrumental and "not in english" categories are separate from that.
-Also, if an album ends up among the 5 nominees in one category, that doesn't mean that songs off that album won't be eligible in other categories too. For example, if Drake's album gets nominated in the hip hop category, Hold On We're Going Home could still get nominated as best RnB (but the song can't get nominated as both best hip hop and RnB).

Anyway, obviously there will be some confusion about where to put certain albums or songs, so I'm just gonna write my dilemmas here.

#1 - What genre will everyone be putting Paramore as?
I'm thinking it's pop more than rock, mainly because I feel it's closer to my other pop nominees (like Lorde) than other rock nominees (Thee Oh Sees, Touche Amore, Deerhunter, possibly Melt-Banana)

#2 - Will you people nominate mbv in indie/alter or another category?

#3 - Where will you people put Overgrown by James Blake or Settle by Disclosure or Charli XCX? Pop or Electronic? Or even RnB for Overgrown?

BTW, there seems to be a problem with the survey for at least one user - he couldn't go back to review the answers. It's a bit of a worry if that's the case, will try to see if it's something we can fix.

edit: yeah there's definitely a problem here - right now you can't go back to review the answers, and if you leave the survey, it'll put you back to where you were... This is something that we have to fix, so don't worry if you have these issues. So, if you're doing the survey now, keep this in mind.

A couple of things - if you don't feel like finishing the survey, you can leave the page, and the next time you click the survey link, it should redirect you to the point where you left off.

Also, I just changed the setting for the survey, meaning you should now be able to go back to review your answers. I know some people were in the middle of doing the survey - if me editing the survey caused some issues, please let me know (also, I apologise )

I've listened to barely any music from this year, lol. I haven't focused on it like other users.
But I'm doing the survey anyways because it would suck if Candy Claws wasn't nominated. I know Charli XCX probably will be so that is good.

Also, question regarding the lifetime achievement award, if I wanted to nominate Mark Kozelek would I have to nominate either Red House Painters or Sun Kil Moon or could I just nominate him and have it encompass all his work?

Oh wow.. I thought the number of categories was weird, and I know why now - I forgot to add the "most underrated album of the year" category.

Question - do we do a separate poll for this category, or is it unnecessary? I guess I could also add it in the survey, but that would mean that those people who already took the survey would need to PM their choices or something...
