It's so small that it doesn't even matter, but 'Neil Young & Crazy Horse' is listed under 'Neil Young.' Shouldn't it have it's own section? Just like 'Frank Zappa' and 'Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Inventions' does? Or am I just being to picky?

Probably too picky. VU & Nico were listed as two bands (VU/VU&Nico). Do we list a new band every time band members change? Is Paul McCartney different than Paul McCartney & Wings? Paul McCartney was the "star" in each band. But The Beatles & McCartney are different (but related). We have even a greater quagmire when we talk about the jazz genre.

Yeah, but the thing is, that is what they are listed under. We don't list Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young under Neil Young. It wouldn't be an easy task to do, but it would makes things more accurate. As far as jazz goes, most albums are listed under the band leader's name. I'm just talking about what's printed on the actual album.

But in the end it really doesn't matter I suppose.

It's an inconsistency that needs sorting out at some stage, but there are many artists that are affected and there is no obvious solution e.g. Prince with The Revolution, Bruce Springsteen with The E-Street Band etc. If you were to regard each artist that appears on an album as a separate entity, the data would quickly become untenable.
