Y'all are picky, it isn't like every thread created adds to a total number of threads that you can't exceed.

Don't have much of an opinion on Beyonce, but I'll be listening to her new album sometime.

Don't worry, I think this thread is perfectly alright. To be honest I had always considered Beyoncé to be a pop star like Rihanna or Katy Perry (who I don't mind in parties and whatever, but otherwise are really annoying) without really listening to her music, but the love for her latest release here has started to confuse me. I'll certainly check it out sooner or later, and this thread is yet another reason to do it. I wouldn't mind some discussion about her to be fair. I'm pretty sure a lot of other users are in my case actually.

That's why :

You should probably be posting this under "Musical Random Chat" rather then creating an entire new thread for it, I think that's what they're getting at.

To Petrocelli: But hey man, did not mean to be rude but creating a thread for the workout aspect of it made me *hum* laugh ...

Lol. I've lost 40 pounds in 3 years. Much of it has been due to finding the right music.

There is a lot of music out there beyond Radiohead. And Beyonce is far easier on the eyes the Thom Yorke.

Yeah, basically. One of those artists whose fun enough to listen to the big singles when they're on the radio or clubs or whatever but the albums aren't going to end up on my itunes. Maybe I'll give it a try though given how everyone loves it so much, maybe.

That was pretty much my opinion about Beyoncé before listening to her latest album. A good singles artist (besides the dreadful "Run the World Girls") but inconsistent when it comes to albums. I hope that it doesn't deter anyone to check the new album out because it's on a totally different plane than her previous efforts. Yes, it's that good!
