I'm not a fan of the delete account option. When I was a kid, I got into a fight with my father and he deleted my online account, including emails, chats, etc. It was just one argument that got out of hand, but the result was I lost a part of my life that I could never get back. In this case, it's not just the user that suffers, but also the community. In addition to losing their charts, old forum threads get filled up with cryptic post chains by anonymous "Guest" users.
The Poe probably should never have been banned (I don't know what went on behind the scenes), but I'd hate to see him unbanned just for his account to be deleted.
Why do you want to leave all of a sudden? Some thread caused some drama, big deal. No need for anyone to flip out and leave.
It's not like anyone had a good reason to ban you anyway.
This has been a long time coming. he told me probably like ~6 months ago he was going to leave BEA.
The recent arguments he has been a part of might have been a catalyst to him leaving, but they are most certainty not the main reason he is leaving.

Sorry guys, I plan on addressing this later tonight. Without throwing somebody completely under the bus I want you to know I'm pretty upset about this, but my real life job is interfering with my ability to do much at this very moment.
