Incredible album, and considering that I rate three Radiohead albums better than this, it shows how great Radiohead are. A unique sound in Radiohead's discography- to be fair though, they all have a unique sound- and the first of their albums I fell in love with. My favourite songs are Just, Bullet Proof, My Iron Lung and Fake Plastic Trees.

Love this album. It's outside my top 50 at the moment, but it would be inside that region if there wasn't other albums by Radiohead I loved even more (then again, my favourite Radiohead album continuously changes between their four most popular). Transitional would be the perfect word to describe it.

Well this is kind of out of the blue Think

Anyway, it's pretty good. Probably only my 4th favorite of theirs, and it's got noticeable flaws, but it's good.

Not a weak track, and a handful of absolute gems among gems. Lower echelon of great Radiohead albums, but just barely. Even an inferior album from them is still a bona fide masterwork.

Track picks
2. The Bends
3. High & Dry
4. Fake Plastic Trees
7. Just
12. Street Spirit (Fade Out)

My favourite Radiohead album, ever since I listened to it it became an instant favourite. I still wait for the day when other Radiohead album/s become my favourite but it hasn't happenned yet.
Fantastic songwriting, production, lyrics all the way through...there is not a weak moment on this album.
Great production work by John Leckie.

...again?

Ah well, very strong record IMO. Used to be my fav by them, now I prefer both OKC and HTTT, and maybe Kid A too. Fake Plastic Trees may forever stay my favorite Radiohead song, though.

I defy anybody who was around in '95 to tell me he could have guessed at the time something like Kid A would come out of a band who'd just made such an average album.

Had a re-listen about a week ago on a powerful stereo and this is a really good record. Sounds great, Yorke is intelligible for once ... A fine record, might be the only one easy to get in, in Radiohead's discography.

This was my first Radiohead album. OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac, and In Rainbows are all better in my opinion, but it's still great despite that.
