A compilation documenting the first years of The Chills (up until 89 if I remember well), on Flying Nun Records, after The Chills have made the big record deal move. Probably their best release too. Kiwi post-punk band turns twee/indie pop later on, one of Flying Nun's finest. "Pink Frost"'s for the history books certainly, 2/3 of these tracks are highlights anyway. Awesome.

Also check out: Submarine Bells (1990) and Soft Bomb (1992) - both contain gems but have nothing on this lo-fi jewellery set.

A great band from New Zealand and a worthy world album.

Second Submarine Bells for another key example of Kiwi Pop/Rock.
