I always liked this record, but at times it can feel like for a concise release it has way too much sproadic idea experimentation going on to be cohesive.

I like Animal Collective, but I've been tip-toeing around this album for so long. Maybe I should change that.

EDIT: It's not my favourite AnCo album (that would be Sung Tongs) but I won't deny that there are some moments where it shines like the weird, optical illusionist type fiasco that it is.

Why do you say that like there's a negative correlation between the two? Razz

Anyway, yeah, it's mad dope. Sprawling and experimental yet totally poppy and accessible at the same time. I <3 it. "In the Flowers" is positively transcendental.

It just floats outside my top 100.

I wish it had just a bit more meat to it.. The album as a whole didn't interest me that much when I first listened to it because of that middle section of 'Daily Routine - Taste'. That entire section doesn't interest me too much. I prefer Sung Tongs as a whole.

Summertime Clothes is my favourite off of it though Smile

And of course, the entire thing is fun as fuck.

That's exactly what I meant but y'know I'm not really formulating coherence today
