Not on par with their first two, but still pretty dope. "The Murder Mystery" is my feckin' jam.

This is actually my favourite Velvet Underground album. It's just so sweet. :3 _________________

Great record, but can't beat VU&N for me.

The happy place of a drug-addled chronic depressive, where the trees drip with semi-secret irony and the rust-colored oceans span as far as the eye can see. The skies are bathed in perpetual twilight, but they dance slowly in ripples that can only be seen when you're looking away. Also, VU's second masterpiece.

In my opinion at least, The Velvet Underground had 4, fairly diverse, masterpieces. This album is probably on par with WL/WH for me, but for different reasons. Both of which are behind Loaded and their debut But still 9.5/10 albums.
This album has moments of absolute beauty, and moments of the dirty VU sounds on their debut. If anything, it really defines what an current indie rock band aims to be. _________________ Submit Your List for BEA's 2023 Film Poll!
