So I'm leaving Toronto in September, but nobody knows yet. As I've been on a mix CD kick lately, I've decided to put together a "Goodbye Toronto" mix CD for my trip out of town, and maybe a copy or two for my girlfriend and some of my closer friends. This has been one of the tougher playlists to compile, but the general songs I've decided upon so far are:
The Weakerthans - Left & Leaving
John Denver - Take Me Home, Country Roads
Arcade Fire - Suburban War
Carole King - So Far Away
City And Colour - Hello, I'm In Delaware
Band Of Horses - The End's Not Near
The National - Green Gloves
Come share yer own, BEA. _________________ A dick that's bigger than the sun.

I just had a vision of you looking back, turning around to see Toronto one last time with "Suburban War" playing in my head ... Beautiful song, good choice for your playlist.
You should add to your playlist "Goin' To Acapulco" covered by Jim James and Calexico.
