For the most part, “Let Her Burn” is an unremarkable project. The songwriting is forgettable with most of the lyrics drawing from pop staples like loneliness and bad relationships. Black delivers a competent if boring vocal performance. The album is slightly elevated by the harder electronic influences on the instrumentals. “Destroy Me” is a stand-out with guitar creatively placed over Drum n Bass. No major flaws but no major pluses.
