“Love Lines” is a kinetic party. The percussion has such chittering momentum. It will build up, break down, and slam together whenever the song needs it to. The choruses are frantic and impassioned. They will take melody and elevate it into pure catchiness. The opener “Wildlife” has a particularly delicious one with the ending line of “I'd know you in the dark”. The drawback of the album is instrumental and lyrically there is little variation. It is a tight dance track about desire through and through. Despite the uniformity, the quality never dips. A one-trick stallion.
