There is something special about producer albums. Rather than worrying about what would sound good for another artist or what will be a hit, they can really let loose. "Data" is that for Tainy. He gets to take all the tricks and skills he has built and unleash them at full force. "PASIEMPRE" is a never-ending beat with a monster posse cut built on top of it. There are so many monster beat switches on this project. "FANTASMA | AVC" by itself would be legendary, but there is also "COLMILLO". There is the softer and melodic "MOJABI GHOST" with its lovelorn chorus. Every single idea that is tried turns into a wild success. The Imperial project of Reggaeton.
"Rodeo Star" alternates between being extremely hyper and being strangely laid back. This back and forth creates a sort of meta groove. "Hometown Hero" has the drums hit just after the melody and it kicks. The creeping country element adds another fantastic layer. The same guitar sample is mined over and over, but it works. The lyrics are wonderfully wishful. They portray a sense of rural feminine confidence without ego. There is a good time going down tonight and Cowgirl Clue will be at it with or without you.

"System Olympia" feels dated in the best possible way. Like dry aged beef or a good wine. Rather than sounding like a relic, it sounds like it was created with an older, higher quality product. It's analog, not digital. It takes this maturity and makes slow building tracks that become sensual. They linger and slowly tease, moving around gentle grooves. Its soft and confident. The sliver fox of albums.

"200XAD" commits to creating not what was but what could be. The digital walls of sound create images of rooms of underground chords and rusted mechs. Each track takes you further and further into this world. There is a wonderful balance between the heavy foundational base and the lighter melodies. It creates a sense of exploration in a dank atmosphere. Ascendance through descendance.

This album is a proof of concept for Italo disco. Every single song maintains quality of the highest order. The synths are crisp, the drums are danceable, and the groove never ends. There is not a single wasted lyric or melody. The vocals are delivered in such an intriguing way that it would be impossible for it not to be stuck in my mind. "Love Lines" could read off my taxes and I would be humming them later.
