Everyone's favourite circular-breathing saxophonist has done it again. Despite the zany cover art, When We Were... is a sombre affair, replete with beautiful drones and spoken word poetry, some of which written by Stetson himself. The five treatments of "The Lighthouse" are especially gorgeous. Stetson is always moving to listen to, but here he does it so gently.
