Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 6% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 75.6/100, a mean average of 75.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 75.9/100. The standard deviation for this album is 13.6.

This is an album packed full of nostalgia and feels like it could have easily been made in the 70's with it giving off that classic feel good energy that is extremely infectious. Every song radiates this positivity in its instrumentation making it lovable and feel personal even if it is just your first time hearing it. Musically, it is also rich with quality as the group utilise such a diverse array of instrumentation which keeps the style of the record fresh throughout and maintains our interest and intrigue as we enjoy the display they put on for us. The vocal is sensational as well and deserves a lot of praise for how brilliant it is on this project. Overall, this is an elite album that will not only make you feel happy whenever you experience it but it will also back this up with a lot of quality. (Edited)
Think this currently sits at my current AOTY so far… just really liking it after going to see them live :)) (Edited)
Some people still make great albums from start to finish. (Edited)

I love the Lemon Twigs, I love the Lemon Twigs. They make me smile and laugh, and make me think I was back in the sixties. I don't remember the sixties, not because of drugs or anything like that. It was probably because I was a baby. (Edited)
Great album from a band I didn't know. Strong recommandation, very consistent
