"Weedkiller" feels unsure of its identity. Hip hop, metal, and pop are all thrown around without any real cohesion. The beats are surprisingly hollow, being composed of only two to three layers. The vocals are plagued by poorly used autotune. It feels like the digital equivalent of a squeaky door hinge. "Weedkiller" is not without some positive qualities. "Worms" has a solid chorus and melody. Ashnikko is fantastic at weaving morbid imagery into otherwise rebellious music. Decomposition is a particular effective and present motif. Above all else it feels as if the music exists primarily for Ashnikko's personality. She succeeds in coming as coming across as a chaotic and hedonistic presence. Once you remove the celebrity there is not much left.
