This is one of the more interesting releases of the year. Ostensibly a pop album, it mixes drum & bass rhythms and instrumentation with the upbeat melodies and lyrics of Britpop. Not such a break from what has gone before - The Prodigy? The Chemical Brothers? - but enough of a sunny disposition that it brings something new to the table.
