There is no fire at all here, let a alone a bad one. This is more like Sleep Pop than Dream Pop. It is invariably artistic but never entertaining.
Well, there might be people who don't like the sound of Mogwai that much. But someone who likes them will love this album because they have summarized everything from their career. It's just great! Whether it's the quiet/loud shema or the epic melodies. They leave nothing out. And if that's what it takes, then their vocoder vocals come in from time to time. Every song deserves a single. If you like post-rock: here is the album that makes 2025 wonderful
