Not quite sure it’s better than Glow On, but Never Enough is pretty damn good.
The way a RATM-esq riff pummels its way through the first half of a track until suddenly the band finds themselves in, texturally and aesthetically, another universe altogether is brilliant. More-so, a brilliant way to expand their sound. In a way, this was the perfect record to follow Glow On.
My prediction is their next record will be something *almost* entirely different. Something that plays more on the expansive, dreamlike sonics.
Regardless, I’ll be here for it.
